Flexographic Plates: Cyral Digital Imaging Flexo digital platemaker(CtP) to cater to the requirements of Flexo printing industry. CDI plates offer quality and printing stability that has so far only been achievable in offset or gravure. Every plate is thoroughly checked for adherence to in-house quality standards and customer specifications. Testing of caliper and durometer is performed on each plate. Using the latest technology to perform quality control procedures assures that the printing plates are consistently produced for flawless performance.

Preparing files for output is full of potential booby traps. The wrong files, missing images, nested graphics -- all these can gum up your prepress process and add hours to your deliver schedules. Here, are the most common prepress bloopers you need to avoid when sending files to your printer.

Forgotten Fonts: To ensure proper output, always supply your printer with the exact screen and printer fonts used in application documents—and be sure to include them all.

Mode Mashing: Proper file preparation includes translation of all images from RGB to CMYK before sending them to the printer. Failure to make this translation early in the workflow can trip you up. You’ve put time, effort, and squinting into the color correcting of RGB images, but they’re not in their final CMYK format.

Orphaned Images: Make sure all the linked images are present in the respective directories. Check for missing links of images before sending the files for output.

Nested nasties: Nesting files inside other files demands intricate processing that confuses a RIP. The result can be substituted fonts, reflowed type, and gaping holes in your output. Nesting files also creates linking problems between applications that causes unpredictable results. Avoid nesting by converting type to outline form in a drawing program before importing it into the final layout document.

No Clue: The prepress process slows to a crawl when an envelope with a
disk–and only a disk–inside is recieved. Accurate proofs must accompany and identify pages submitted on disk for processing. This simple step assures proper image placement, allows page count checks and blank page placement. Always take the extra minute to confirm the hard copy you send for production is identical to the file on disk.
